Prudential Center is easily accessible by multiple modes of transport. The arena is located 2 blocks from Newark Penn Station in downtown Newark, just west of Newark's Ironbound district, which makes it easily accessible via New Jersey Transit, PATH, Newark Light Rail, and Amtrak. Uber is the official rideshare partner of Prudential Center. Getting to the action is now easier than ever with the venue's designated pickup and drop-off area just east of Investors Bank Tower. When heading to Prudential Center, ask your driver to follow in-app navigation directions and the signs to the drop-off area on Edison Place, between Mulberry Street and McCarter Highway.
Market Street at Championship Plaza is the official drop-off and pick-up area for Prudential Center events. Specifically the southbound lane of Market Street alongside Championship Plaza and Dinosaur Bar-B-Que.

Arena doors will open approximately 60-90 minutes prior to the start of an event but times may vary per event. Prudential Center has a "no re-entry" policy during events, with certain exceptions, such as a medical necessity.
The Prudential Center can be reached by NJ Transit:
Prudential Center can be reached via Newark Light Rail. Alight at Newark Penn Station, a 650 m (8 min) walk to Prudential Center. NJ Transit is the fast, easy way to travel to Prudential Center. With direct service to Newark on 6 rail lines, more than 2 dozen bus routes, and the Newark Light Rail system, you can travel from almost anywhere in New Jersey as well as New York and Philadelphia.
Rail connections are available at Secaucus Junction from Bergen, Passaic, Rockland, and Orange counties.
There are on-street and off-street bicycles racks by the arena.
As Prudential Center is located in central Newark, there is plenty to see and do within walking distance of the arena. Nearby there is Newark Symphony Hall (a 750 m (9 min) walk), the Krueger-Scott Mansion (a 1.0 km (12 min) walk), and The Newark Museum of Art (a 1.3 km (16 min) walk) to name just a few.

As the home arena of the NHL's New Jersey Devils, Prudential Center regularly hosts top-level ice hockey games. It is also the venue of basketball, wrestling, and MMA events. You can find the Prudential Center schedule above.
Prudential Center ticket prices will vary depending on several factors such as the teams or players competing, the ticket type, and the ticket seller. In the last 12 months, we have seen tickets as low as USD $11 for certain events at the arena. You can purchase tickets at the arena's box office which is located at 165 Mulberry Street (Monday to Friday 11:00-17:00) or online. It is generally more convenient to purchase tickets online as you can compare ticket types and prices and secure yourself the right ticket for you before arriving at the arena.
