Due to the extensive car parking at the venue and the great road links, driving is a popular way to reach Monmouth Park. Take Exit 105 on the Garden State Parkway to Route 36 East. There are also public transport connections via North Jersey Coast Line train services.

Valet parking is available on the Clubhouse side for $15.
There are accessible parking facilities located near the entrance to Monmouth Park off Oceanport Avenue. To gain access, you will require a current disabled placard. There is a disabled drop-off and pick-up area at the Grandstand Main Gate.
North Jersey Coast Line trains stop at Monmouth Park Station every live racing day throughout the racing season. The station is just a 482 m (6 min) walk from the venue.
In the area surrounding Monmouth Park, there is a selection of shops, bars, and eateries. For a wider choice, visitors can travel to Philadelphia or New York City.
Although Jersey City is much cheaper to stay in than NYC, it is still considered more expensive than most US cities. While it’s home to a few top high-end hotels, the city is mostly populated mid-range and budget hotels and hostels.
Monmouth Park has a fantastic selection of bars and eateries including the Blu Grotto Ristorante, the Dining Club & Salvator Grille, and the Shipwreck Bar. There is also a great range of concessions serving a delicious variety of food and drink including, burgers, hot dogs, and tacos.

Monmouth Park hosts horse racing events at different stages of the year and the most iconic fixture at the course is Haskell Day when the historic Haskell Stakes is run.
Monmouth Park ticket prices vary depending on a number of factors including the event, the enclosure the ticket is for, and the seller. For example, tickets for the hospitality areas offering greater access around the course and dining options will be more expensive than those for General Admission without a reserved seat. Similarly, tickets may be more expensive at certain fixtures. It is sometimes possible to purchase tickets at the venue, however, meetings often sell out before the day of the event, so it is advised that those wishing to attend buy their tickets in advance.
