Located in downtown Indianapolis, Gainbridge Fieldhouse is easily accessible by car and bus services. There are plenty of places to park close to the venue, as well as ample routes for public transportation.
Below you can find general information on travel and parking for Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Individual events may have additional/restricted services available, and so we recommend clicking through to the event and viewing the Travel & Parking tab for event-specific information.
The Virginia Avenue Garage is the closest parking facility to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Located at the venue's northeast corner, the garage is connected to the Fieldhouse by a sky bridge on the third floor. Most parking spots will be no more than 300 m (4 min) from the arena entrance.
Alternatively, downtown Indianapolis offers numerous parking lots and garages within walking distance of Gainbridge Fieldhouse. These include City Park Garage on Washington Street 500 m (6 min) and Merchants Garage on S Meridian Street 400 m (5 min).
Drivers dropping off guests with limited mobility may stop and drop their guest off at the disability ramps on Pennsylvania Street directly in front of the Fieldhouse. All other drivers must use other drop off points. This is a one-way southbound street. When dropping off guests, please be cautious and pay careful attention to heavy traffic conditions. Vehicles must not be left unattended.
Taxicab service is available throughout Indianapolis. In addition to traditional taxicab services, Yellow Cab offers wheelchair accessible transportation and may be contacted at (317) 487-7777. During events, Guest Relations is available to assist in calling a taxicab should you need assistance.

Entrances
The 2 main entrances into Gainbridge Fieldhouse are located off of Pennsylvania Street and Delaware Street. Guests may also enter from pedestrian bridge connecting the Fieldhouse to the Virginia Avenue Garage. For select high occupancy events, guests may also enter off of Pennsylvania Street and Delaware Street at the north stairwells. Signage will be posted when this is available.
Re-entry
For your safety, all exits are final. Guests are not permitted to leave an event at Bankers Life Fieldhouse and then re-enter the same event.
Gainbridge Fieldhouse is just an 850 m (10 min) walk from Indianapolis Union Station, which is accessible via Amtrak's Cardinal service that runs between Chicago and New York via Cincinnati and Washington DC. Please note, this service only passes through the city 3 times per week.
The city of Indianapolis has placed bike racks under the Virginia Avenue Garage on the corner near Maryland Street. Some area parking meters are also equipped to secure your bike.

Changing Tables
Changing Tables are located in the handicap accessible stalls of the women’s and men’s restrooms on all levels. Tables are also available in the gender-neutral restrooms near suites 20 and 28 on the KeyBank Suite Level.

Nursing
Nursing mothers’ room is open for all events and is located on the Main Concourse at Section 9 near the Plant Fitness Lounge.
Service Animals
Service animals are permitted at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Wheelchairs
For individuals who have limited mobility or accessibility needs, an escort is available to transport/assist guests from our Entry Pavilion to your seats. Requests may be placed at any entrance by notifying a member of our staff. A member of staff will return with the wheelchair to escort you to the exit at the end of the event. If a wheelchair escort is required during the event, you may notify a member of staff and they will be happy to assist. Please note that wheelchairs are limited and subject to availability at that time. Wheelchairs are not available for continuous use throughout the event.
Accessible Restrooms
Gainbridge Fieldhouse is equipped with accessible facilities on all levels. All restrooms are adapted for service to guests with disabilities. For your convenience, gender-neutral restrooms are available on all levels of the building. The locations are listed below:
Accessible Seating
Wheelchair locations and modified aisle seats with ample room are available throughout Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Seating is dispersed both vertically and horizontally. Tickets for guests with disabilities are available through Ticketmaster outlets or in-person at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse Box Office. Please indicate when purchasing tickets if you require accessible seating.
ATM
For your convenience, KeyBank ATMs are located in the Entry Pavilion on the Pennsylvania Street side, on the Main Concourse at Section 19 and on the Balcony Level at Section 211.
Elevators/ Escalators
Elevators are located in the northeast area of the Fieldhouse. Escalators are accessible from the Main Concourse and Balcony Levels on the Delaware Street (East) and Pennsylvania Street (West) sides of the Fieldhouse. There is also an escalator at the pedestrian bridge from the Virginia Avenue Garage to the Entry Pavilion.
First Aid
A well-trained team of event workers and first aid staff are in place to assist in an emergency situation during public events. The First Aid Station on the Main Concourse is located near Section 7. Additional First Aid Stations will be staffed during certain events. In addition, Gainbridge Fieldhouse is equipped with Automatic External Defibrillators (AED).
