The United Center is easily accessible by car, metro, bus, and taxi services. With ample parking space and drop-off zones, travelling by car to the arena is preferable and offers ease of access.

All official United Center parking lots are conveniently located near the arena and can be accessed from Damen Ave, Madison St, Adams St, Warren Blvd, Wood St, Monroe St, and Washington St. Reserved parking is available to purchase in several lots:

Passes for "ALT LOT" are valid for lots A, B, D, F, or Malcolm X Garage. Those who have booked premium seating that includes premium parking can park in the relevant sections of lots C and K. Drivers will be directed to relevant lots by traffic police and parking attendants based on traffic conditions. Parking lots generally open 2.5 hours before the start of an event.
EV Charging Stations are available in Lot H and Lot K. Charging is free. Please be courteous and maintain parking/charging for the posted time limits.
Accessible parking at the United Center is located in Lot G at the southwest corner of the building. Vehicles displaying a current handicapped license plate or window placard are permitted to park in Lot G.
Limousines, small busses, and larger busses can park in Lot B only.

Outside food or beverages are not permitted inside the arena.
For those looking for a sit-down or bar experience, there are a number of restaurants, eateries, and bars throughout the arena.
To increase and streamline the fan experience for guests who take Uber to and from the United Center, the new Uber Zone is located at the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street (Lot E) and will combine the 3 former Uber locations around the arena. Traffic leading to the 3 prior Uber pickup locations:
Take the Orange, Green, Purple, or Brown lines to Madison. Take #20 Madison buses west.
The #19 United Center Express Bus runs on gamedays. Service begins 90 minutes prior to game time, runs every 10 minutes until 30 minutes until the start of the event. Board at stops starting southbound on Michigan and Randolph. Connections are made with Metra trains at Millennium Station, Ogilvie Center, and Union Station. The #20 Madison Bus travels west on Madison Street, starting downtown at Wabash Street, and runs every few minutes, making all stops to the United Center.

Chicago is a bike-friendly city with all Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) and Pace buses equipped with racks and bicycles being permitted on most trains. Most stations have bike parking. The city also has a bike sharing scheme called Divvy where you can hire out a bike from a station. The closest Divvy station to the arena is on W Jackson Blvd, just a 800 m (10 min) walk away.
United Center is close to the campus of the University of Illinois Chicago and there are plenty of eateries and bars within walking distance of the arena.
The multi-sensory contemporary WNDR Museum is a 1.6 km (19 min) walk from United Center.
Gates usually open 90 minutes before the start of the event.
United Center has a strict "no re-entry" policy for all events. For questions, please visit the nearest Guest Relations booth, located at the entrance of Gates 2 and 6, the Club (200 Level) level at Section 221, and on the Upper (300 Level) level across from Section 325.
Guests may enter the arena with a small purse or personal bag up to 10” x 6” x 2“ in size. Backpacks are prohibited. Limited exceptions for medical or diaper bags will be allowed. All guests will be subject to inspection, bag checks, and metal detections upon entry.
Restrooms are located on all levels. Family restrooms are located on the Lower (100 Level) level in the First Aid room across from Section 115/116, and on the Upper (300 Level) level at the top of Section 303/304.
United Center is the home venue of both the NBA's Chicago Bulls and the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks, so it regularly hosts basketball and ice hockey games. You can find the United Center events schedule above.
Ticket prices for events at United Center are dynamic and vary depending on several factors including the event, the opponent, the ticket type, and the seller. In the last 12 months, we have seen tickets as low as USD $15 for some events. Tickets can be purchased at the United Center box office which is open Monday-Saturday from 11:00-17:00. However, it is generally more convenient to buy tickets online as you can guarantee a seat and you are able to compare prices and ticket types.

Entry gate times vary depending on the event at United Center, but usually open 90 minutes before the start of the event. For some events, you can find the gate/door opening time on Koobit by viewing the event’s Schedule tab. Timings should also be confirmed on your tickets when you receive them.
