Soldier Field is located on the Near South Side of Chicago. It is easily accessible via car, CTA bus routes, Metra train lines, taxi, and bike. There are multiple parking lots within the immediate area, as well as numerous bus stops with connecting bus/ train routes which are within walking distance of the stadium. Patrons may also opt to bike their way to the area as there are plenty of bike racks available.

Soldier Field has an abundance of parking located within walking distance of the stadium. Visitors can park at the following lots:
A limited number of single game parking passes for various lots servicing Soldier Field may be purchased in advance.
Prohibited Parking
Parking is prohibited in the residential areas surrounding Soldier Field. The area is bordered by Roosevelt Road on the north, Cermak Road on the south, Lake Shore Drive on the east and Clark Street on the west. Violators are subject to ticketing and towing.
Family Friendly
Family Friendly parking is located south of the Adler Planetarium ($50), 18th St. Lot D ($60) and at the 31st Street Beach Lot ($25). No alcohol consumption is permitted in these lots. For information, visit SoldierField.ClickAndPark.com.
Disabled Parking
A pre-paid parking coupon is required to park in the lots by Soldier Field. Patrons without a pre-paid parking coupon are encouraged to park at the 31st Street McCormick Place Lot B or the Millennium Park Garage and take the free ADA accessible shuttles that drop off at the ADA turnaround at Gate 14 of Soldier Field.

Soldier Field offers a wide variety of concession stands. DMK Burger Bar is a local favourite, while Robinson's No. 1 Ribs will please anyone looking for delicious BBQ. Buona is the place to go for classic Italian beef sandwiches, and Kronos Gyros serves Greek food with a big selection of gyro toppings. There are also many stands offering nachos, fried chicken, sausages, popcorn, pretzels, churros, donuts, and ice cream.
Visitors may bring in bottled water (unopened) and food in clear plastic bags.
For Bears games, stadium gates open 2 hours prior to kick-off, and visitors are encouraged to arrive early. Walk-through metal detectors will be used at the gates.
Taxi Cabs
Taxi cabs, limousines, and buses will not be allowed to enter Soldier Field Campus beginning 90 minutes after kick-off. The campus re-opens to incoming vehicles/traffic 1 hour after the event is over to allow for outgoing traffic to subside. Please plan on catching taxi cabs by Roosevelt and Columbus to the Northwest of the stadium.
Ride Shares and Taxi Cabs
Drop-offs for ride share rides and taxi cabs are permitted at the 18th Street turnaround west of LSD and at Balbo and Columbus Drives. Ride shares and taxi cabs can pick up patrons after the game ONLY at Balbo and Columbus Drives north of Soldier Field.
CTA
Soldier field is easily accessible by the CTA Red, Green, and Orange Lines at the Roosevelt Station, which is about 1.2 km (14 min) walk from the stadium. Soldier Field can be reached on the 128 Soldier Field Express and the 146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express buses. To exit Soldier Field after the game, board 128 and 146 buses along the west side of the Transportation Center ("East Museum Lot") at the corner of McFetridge and Museum Campus Drive, just north-east of the stadium.
Soldier Field offers a free shuttle service for fans attending the game.
31st Street McCormick Place Lot B. Shuttles begin service 2 hours before kickoff to take fans to Soldier Field. After the game, board McCormick Place shuttles at the 18th street shuttle turnaround on the south side of 18th St. just west of Lake Shore Drive. There is limited return shuttle service available during the game. Shuttles will run until 2 hours after the end of the game.
Grant Park North/Millennium Park Garages
Shuttles begin service 3 hours before kickoff and run through the first quarter to take fans to Soldier Field. After the game, board Grant Park North/Millennium Park over the pedestrian bridge at 18th Street just west of Lake Shore Drive. There is limited return shuttle service available during the game. Shuttles will run until 2 hours after the end of the game.
Metra
For Bears fans coming from the South Side or south suburbs, the “Bears Extra” train on the Metra Electric Line will serve fans during home games. On Sundays when the Bears game at Soldier Field is scheduled to start at noon, an extra train will depart University Park at 9:30. The train will make all stops between University Park and Kensington as well as stops at the 59th Street, 55th-56th-57th Street, and 51st/53rd Street stations. The train’s next stop is the 18th Street Station, a short walking distance from Soldier Field. For games with evening start times, inbound trains 132, 236 and 136 will make an extra stop at 18th Street.
Water Taxi
Navy Pier is a popular place for tourists to visit. It is also a pickup point for a “water taxi” service provided by sightseeing companies, which offers direct access to the Museum Campus via boat. Keep in mind that this option stops running at 20:00 during the summer and at 18:30 after Labour Day.
Bike Parking And Racks
These are located on the perimeter of the Stadium. The stadium is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
Restrooms
All restrooms are equipped with baby changing stations. Every restroom in the stadium is ADA accessible. The stadium is also equipped with 14 Family Restrooms.
ADA Drop-Off Areas
Disabled patrons may be dropped off on the circle drive (east side of the stadium) on Museum Campus Drive outside Gate 14. An ADA placard or license plate must be visible to the police and parking attendants, and the person to whom the placard or license plate is registered must be an occupant of the vehicle in order to access the Gate 14 drop-off. Due to traffic congestion after events, please do not attempt to return with your vehicle to the Gate 14 drop-off; you may take the courtesy cart from the Gate 14 drop-off to your vehicle.
Elevators / Escalators
To access the United Club there are four elevators located at the north end and three at the south end of the stadium. Two elevators on the south end are also accessible from ground level inside Gate 14. Eight escalators are also available in the United Club area to provide access to the United Club to Club Level 200 and Club Level 300. The seven elevators provide access to the 133 Suites. One elevator is located in the southeast corner of the South Courtyard near Gate 6 providing service from the Grand Concourse to the Mezzanine Level. A second elevator is located in the southwest corner of the stadium on the Mezzanine Level behind Section 131 providing access from the Mezzanine Level to the Media Deck and Grandstand. All elevators are ADA accessible.

Lost & Found is located at Gate 1 during events. Please call the stadium at (312) 235-7000 after an event has taken place to enquire about lost items.

PNC Bank ATMs are conveniently located around the stadium. Additional ATMs are located throughout the stadium and next to the Will Call booth outside Gate 10.
Soldier Field has a capacity of approximately 61,500. However, the capacity does differ between events depending on the seating configuration.
