TD Ballpark is a baseball stadium in Dunedin, Florida. The ballpark is home to the Toronto Blue Jays during MLB Spring Training.

📜 History

Since joining MLB in 1977, the Toronto Blue Jays have always played their Spring Training home fixtures in Dunedin, Florida. Initially, the franchise was based at Grant Field, but in 1990, the City of Dunedin constructed a new stadium for use by the Jays – Dunedin Stadium. Today, the venue is known as TD Ballpark.

TD Ballpark has enjoyed various renovation efforts through the years, and now features air-conditioned skyboxes, picnic areas, a scoreboard with electronic message display, and regulation-sized Major League playing field. At present, the venue's total capacity sits at 8,500.

Alongside hosting Spring Training contests at the venue for more than 3 decades, the Blue Jays have played 21 MLB regular season games at TD Ballpark. These all occurred in 2021 as a result of travel restrictions brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic.

While the Toronto Blue Jays are TD Ballpark's most famous residents, Dunedin Blue Jays (Single-A) and Dunedin High School Falcons both make regular use of the venue.
