TWICE is a South Korean girl group based in Seoul, South Korea. Under JYP Entertainment, they are known for bright, catchy K-pop that blends dance-pop, bubblegum pop, electropop and J-pop, and for extensive Korean and Japanese releases.
Formed through the survival show "Sixteen" in 2015, they debuted with "The Story Begins" and breakout single "Like OOH-AHH". Their early hits "Cheer Up" and "TT" cemented mainstream popularity, followed by charting singles such as "Likey", "What is Love?", "Fancy", "Feel Special", "I Can't Stop Me", "Alcohol-Free", "The Feels", "Talk that Talk", "Set Me Free", "Moonlight Sunrise", "I Got You" and "One Spark". Key albums and EPs include "Twicetagram", "Eyes Wide Open", "Formula of Love: O+T=<3", "Between 1&2", "Ready to Be", "With YOU-th", and Japanese sets like "BDZ", "&TWICE" and "Perfect World". They have received major awards in Korea, including Song of the Year for "Cheer Up" at leading ceremonies such as the Mnet Asian Music Awards and Melon Music Awards, alongside honours at the Golden Disc Awards and Seoul Music Awards.
