While Brighton is the second most expensive city to live in the UK, due to its sunny coastline and cultural treasures, it’s entirely possible to visit on a budget. As a tourist hub, everything from luxury boutique hotels to affordable hostels and B&Bs are up for grabs. While you’ll most definitely pay a premium for a beachfront sea-view location, head slightly inland to find more reasonably priced accommodation.
To reach Brighton, fly into London Gatwick Airport (LGW), the UK’s second busiest airport, which offers regular direct international flights to and from…
Shop local at the Open Market – head to this diverse indoor market to find the best of Brighton’s independent shops and stalls, which include bookshops, galleries, food stalls, and plenty of artisanal goodies
