The biggest downside is that there are not any nice hotels within walking distance of the venue. Also, the food offerings could be expanded and improved. Tennis was good and a number of top ranked WTA players.
Nice idea but for day session only one match was on and a half set from previous evening. Hardly a busy schedule. Doubles were available but could barely see courts. The practice courts were blocked off. Ridiculous, other venues allow viewing. The parking was ridiculous and the food available was barely passable. So much room for improvement especially for the cost of admission
כרטיסים במחירים מופקעים
The event itself was great!
The biggest inconveniences were:
1. payment for parking opposite the Arena IN CASH in local currency
2. any backpacks, even the small ones, were prohibited and you couldn't bring any own food at the stadium. There were some bars, but the food offer was just hamburgers and snacks (and the huuuge queues) and after spending the whole day there we were seriously hungry.
super klimat
Very informative on the results of games but presentation is somewhat a problem.
very badly organized,TICKETS TO EXPENCIVE FOR AN ATP 250 TOURNAMENT ,SELLING TICKETS A COMPLETE MESS,NOT AVIABLE THEN YES , TREATMENT OF VIPS VERY BAD ,THERE SHOUD BE NO WAITING IN LINE TO GET IN ,ALSO GETTING INTO TO THE LOUNGE WAS AVERY BAD EXPERIENCE ALSO THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD
Very well organised.
Really glad that we have an ATP event in Israel. but the organization was so so.. and the price is really high and games canceled..
we waited for so long to enter the court. we had vip tickets-and didnt feel it. wasnt worth it!
Hello!
First of all I was very disappointed that the watermen water devices wasn’t cold water and it was very hot outside…
The security was awful.
I mean I could brought a knife in my bug with an intention to make some attack.
For next time please work on the security
Minimum metal detector..
That’s it. I had a great time there thank you all!
very nice
We attended both final matches on Sunday. The tennis was world class .
The organization was excellent .
It will be an experience to remember!
Some suggestions:
Sadly, the food court was disappointing.
The bathrooms were not clean.
We sat above the Media and Medical ceiling less rooms Area B and there was a lot of talking between them, as well as cellphone conversations going on during play , which we heard and had to shush them to be quiet!
Looking forward to more tennis 🎾 events in Israel 🇮🇱
I was thrilled to be able to attend an ATP event here in Israel. That said, the scheduling issues were a major impediment - starting from my cancelled tickets for Wednesday's evening session and including the delayed entrance for Thursday's night session. The prices were very high, particularly for the later rounds. Nonethesss, it was great to take part and I hope Israel can host more tennis events in the future.
Nice event. Great to have such level in Israel. Tickets are expensive. Should bring more fun activities.
Changing Ticket policy in the middle was a pharse
The matches were great but the event was not well organized. There were issues with the VIP bracelets. We were wrongly given regular bracelets, and almost not let into the match when trying to return from the food court.
I want to start by saying that it was fantastic to have the opportunity to watch world-class players in Israel and I thank you for that. The event was well organized, the seats were good, facilities were excellent, but the issue with the tickets was a farce!!!! As a huge Djokovic fan, I had originally bought 4 tickets for Wednesday, hoping that he would be scheduled to play singles and feeling a little upset when the schedule showed him only playing doubles. As you know, the end result was that he didn't even play doubles (not your fault), but I don't understand why it was not possible to have him play a practice set or something to give us viewers something to see when the doubles match was cancelled. Also, it was not possible to spend the LONG time between the previous match and the following single watching another match, as Court 1 was very small and filled up extremely quickly. But it could also have been a nice alternative if you had shown the match on Court 1 on the screen of center court (and also, throughout the days, on one of the screens in the lobby).
Having missed Djokovic on Wednesday, I bought a much more expensive ticket for Thursday (bought on Tuesday night), which I would NEVER have bought had there been ANY indication ANYWHERE that my ticket would not allow me to see the evening session!!! There was no such indication anywhere. Not on the ticket site when I bought the ticket (once I pressed the button for the 29/9 tickets, I was immediately directed to the seat-selection), not on the downloaded ticket and not in any of the following confirmation emails. NOTHING! The ticket looked exactly the same as the ticket I bought for Wednesday. There was NO mention of Day vs Night sessions anywhere !!!! The ticket said entry from 10 AM and stated no limitation, timewise or other.
I spent my day at center court starting around 14, thinking that I would get to see Djokovic in the evening. My son came especially by bus from the army in order to join. The disappointment of being THROWN OUT of the facility, 10 minutes before the Djokovic match, with no warning and no explanation, after having paid a lot of money THE DAY BEFORE just to see this match, with no indication that the ticket would not be valid to see the one match that I had come to see, was immense!!!! It completely overshadowed my pleasure from the other matches and the overall organization of the event.
So unfortunately I came away from a great event feeling cheated out of my money and without having seen my favorite player over the last 15 years, aside from 2 minutes talk with Yoni Ehrlich....
Friendly and well organised event in the lovely town of Metz. The arena is within easy walking distance of the town centre, station etc.
I enjoyed two days with seats in the gold area...a good position for viewing matches. The labyrinth of corridors leading to this area was confusing the first day but I did get used to finding my way around.
The refreshment staff were cheerful and efficient. My only disappointment was no cappuccino coffee...can't drink expresso. And some fruit would have been welcome!
The ticket staff were great...special thanks to Charlotte Solary who answered my telephone call from London and sorted out my booking problem.
The information about travelling to and from the venue was rubbish. No information about suitable drop off or pick up points. False information saying there would be taxis at the North entrance (which is not described on any venue map so where is it?). When the match finished at 01.00 on Thursday morning the stewards said there were none. I had to walk 4.8 miles getting back to my rented apartment at 02.30. I am a 66 year old female and was on my own. Anyway every day should have started at 14.00 (or even earlier) so that there was at least a realistic chance of people using public transport. I later discovered OVO bikes and used one of those to travel on Friday night. These were not mentioned in the venue information either.
