An amazing experience

AMAZING

I bought tickets because Rafa Nadal was announced as a participant. When he withdrew, I wasn't able to get my money back.

Very organized event

Well organised. Considerate staff with my elderly mother. Food court, vendors and children's activities added greatly to the overall wonderful experience. Bringing in the world's top tennis player an absolute joy to watch.

Great seats concessions cost to high

Great atmosphere and organization.

Our Dallas Open 2024 experience was just Great! We loved the venue and the atmosphere - it was so easy to watch the matches and feel part of the tournament. Everyone was polite and tennis-minded!

Amazing slam!! Great atmosphere! The facilities are really good and they have improved a lot since I went many years ago. I would recommend a seat in Rod Laver if money allows as views are very good and guaranteed more tennis than the grounds pass. Well done to Melbourne for hosting this major event, transport etc all worked well.

Outstanding event

THE ACTUAL EVENT WAS GREAT, HOWEVER THERE WAS ONE LARGE DRAWBACK THIS YEAR FOR US. THE SEATING AND SPACE ALLOWED FOR PEOPLE AND THEIR NEEDS WAS EXYTREMELY POOR THIS TIME. THE SEATS WERE OLD AND NOT COMFORTABLE AND IT APPEARS THE ALLOCATION OF SEATS WAS TO MUCH FOR THE SPACE PEOPLE NEEDED. LAST YEAR (SAME LOCATION) THE SEATING / SPACE WERE MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE.

1. Seats are extremely uncomfortable in the north and south stands. Most people were forced to stand up between games to give their behinds a break from the hard chairs. My sister and I brought seat cushion with us after the first day’s experience, and that helped somewhat.

2. During the first part of the week, the PA system was appalling. It was impossible to hear the winners’ courtside interviews after the matches, or any announcements. The music that was played in the breaks was so distorted that it was very unpleasant. This was somewhat rectified by the end of the week, but it should have been fixed before the end of the first day.

3. Ticketmaster is a terrible app to book tickets on. Every session has to be booked and paid for as a separate booking. There was no way to book several sessions and pay for them altogether.

4. The tennis was fantastic! Loved all the matches we saw.

Only criticism is ..when coming from the bottom end of Stanley Street and have seats in the Redwood Stand, we should not have to walk all the way up the hill to the Main entrance, but should be allowed to enter lower down Stanley Street near the Admin. Entrance.

Great experience

What an amazing experience...every aspect beautifully presented. Volunteers super helpful and friendly...was my 70th birthday...what a gift. Keep it up. We'll be back
