📜 Tasmania JackJumpers History
Named after the venomous jack jumper ant found throughout Tasmania, the JackJumpers were founded as an expansion team in 2020 to take the total number of teams in the NBL back up to 10.
Tasmania had been without a team in Australia's premier basketball league since the Hobart Devils dissolved in 1996.
The JackJumpers reached the NBL Grand Final in their inaugural season, but they were defeated 3-0 by the Sydney Kings.
