Great Venue, and amazing TT - but disappointed the attendance was so small. (And also disappointed that a lot of the top players did not attend).
Great event with a bevy of star players to watch and admire. Free flow of snacks was a nice touch. The autograph sessions were also good and a great chance to see and meet some of the worlds top talent ! Seating arrangements could have been better and cleaner. Sad to see so many plastic water bottles strewn around! For such a world class event overall facilities could have been cleaner and better maintained, including the washrooms. Overall coverage by WTT was very good. Looking forward to see more such events happening in Chennai.
The event on Friday was not conducive to spectator attendance. There was no guidance as to the programme. The start time was not highlighted. The manual Scoreboards could not be seen from all angles.
The main screen just displayed the time. The registration room was chaotic with school children uncontrolled. There was no easy access to the “try a bat”. One gentleman had travelled specifically for that.
Overall the [official] website was difficult to navigate and did not provide information easily.
Live streaming seemed to cost an additional fee on top of the entrance fee.
So far the experience was good however the seat was blocked by camera even we paid for Cat 1 ticket.
Too expensive for the sheet
It was a good experience no doubt about that. However, it can be made much interesting if the organizers add on advertisement about Singapore in between the games, like what I saw in ATP HK Open, they advertised so much about HK and for someone who is a foreignor, it 's definitely a Great Info to discover the city or places of interests!!
Hi WTT,
I had a great experience at this WTT Smash event, especially since it was my first time attending. However, I do have a few pieces of feedback:
1.There was a restriction on bringing banners, and we were asked to strictly follow the dimensions set by the organizers. I was not allowed to bring a small towel with a player's name on it, yet when I entered the arena, I saw many people carrying large banners. Some even had extremely long banners. Why was I not allowed to bring my item, while others were allowed to bring theirs?
On the second day, I approached security again to clarify if banners were truly not allowed. They confirmed this, so I asked why others were able to bring them in. I showed them photos of the arena, where large banners were clearly visible. The security responded by saying they had no idea how those banners were brought in. Isn't it their responsibility to check items properly? Why was my banner the only one not allowed?
2. In the first few days, the security cannot control the crowd. We provided feedback to the ushers, but they said they couldn't do anything since people were trying to rush to the players’ side. This was very frustrating. However, I see the improvement in the following sessions. Good job to the team for making these adjustments!
3. Only the last few session - usher are checking and warning those people who turn on the flash light. By right should be at 1st session their should do that. Hope can do it better next year.
overall is a good experience. See you Next year!!
Hope arrange more shuttle bus go around to station
Overall good atmosphere, excellent athletic display.
Not so great: IMHO the music was a bit too loud, and it was bad timing that a very close public parking lot was blocked due to a flea market.

Points positifs:
* L'ambiance était magnifique.
* La délégation Japonaise était conséquente.
Points négatifs:
* Les tirages au sort devraient interdirent la rencontre de 2 athlètes du même pays au premier tour (ex: SHI Xunyao vs QIAN Tianyl , JOO Cheonhui vs SHIN Yubin...)
* Pour l'achat des places en toute connaissance , il faudrait pouvoir visualiser l'ensemble de la salle, avec les places disponibles et leurs prix, comme quand on réserve sur Air France.
* La sortie sous la pluie...
* l'achat d'un mauvais sandwich , après 1/2 heure de queue
It is really a show. The ambiance during the matchs was amazing.
But you need to get out and go outside the arena between 2 cessions. The people for the Safety are not kind at all and dont let the kids for an autograph at the end of the matchs. Breaking their dream.
Amazing french tournament 🙂
I was in volonteer's team, ... It was great to share a goods moments with all the team.

Inside great, outside it was a mess to get to the entrance, no clear indications vio, not vip, standard, nothing
Excellent !
Vive le ping
C’était incroyable, l’ambiance était folle et les match aussi mais le faite qu’on a du sortir pour pouvoir refaire scanner notre ticket sous la pluie était pas trop cool mais sinon super journée
Fantastic but the arena is desperatly not esuipped for disabled persons( nothing to ean on when you climb the rows)
