Letzigrund does not have a public parking area. Underground parking is available at Crowne Plaza Parking, which is 350 m (4 min) walk to the venue.

🚶‍♂️ Walking

Letzigrund is 3.5 km (42 min) walk from Zürich city centre and so walking is a viable option if you have the time and inclination. If you're staying east of the centre, walking times should be less.

📍 Where To Stay

Encompassing the city centre and Niederdorf, District 1 is one of Zürich’s priciest neighbourhoods due to its enviable waterfront location and proximity to the city’s most luxurious shops and restaurants. This district is also where you’ll find many of Zürich’s most distinguished landmarks including Lindenhof and Bahnhofstrasse.

Located alongside District 1, Langstrasse is the city’s red-light district and nightlife hotspot. While you’re moments away from a party at night, you’re just a short walk from the lively centre during the day.

The reinvented industrial neighbourhood Zürich West has become another popular spot for a party, but it attracts a younger, more creative and bohemian crowd due to its urban vibe.

For a quieter and more sophisticated central location, stay in the residential Seefeld and Muhlebach neighbourhoods, which overlook Zürich’s lush Chinagarten and Lake Zürich with a regal charm.

See a more casual and laid back side to the city in Enge, which overlooks Lake Zürich from the west. The leafy location, known for its wonderful promenade and abundance of parks, is a quiet and spacious family-oriented area.

With trams, buses, trains, and boats, it’s super easy to navigate Zürich, allowing you to stay in any location you choose without having to worry about access to the centre.

About Letzigrund

Letzigrund is a multi-purpose stadium in Zürich. The stadium opened in 1925, constructed by football club FC Zürich for and their spin-off athletics club LC Zürich. In 2007 the stadium was reconstructed to update its facilities for international events including Euro 2008. In 2007, Grasshopper Club Zürich football club also started using Letzigrund as their home ground.

The annual athetics meeting Weltklasse Zürich – a Diamond League event – has been held at the stadium since 1928, and on 21 June 1960 it was the location where Armin Hary was the first human being to run the 100 m in 10.0 seconds.

Letzigrund also regularly hosts big-name concerts.

There are plenty of food and drinks options available at Letzigrund Stadium. From beer and snacks at nearby food vendors to upscale dining at the Restaurant Oval, Letzigrund Stadium isn't short of delicious treats to satisfy its visitors.

The Restaurant Oval serves a variety of different meals, such as grilled meats, vegetarian cuisine, and decadent desserts. The restaurant is open to the public from Monday to Friday, between 11.00-15.00.

Disabled wheelchair allocated spaces are located on a wheelchair-accessible platform in Sector C, Blocks 18 to 22. The entrance is situated in Sector C.
