Loftus Versfeld is located to the east of Pretoria city centre. On match days there is on-site parking, but it can also be reached easily by public transport.

There is usually pay-on-the-day on-site parking on match days, with parking lots located in the stadium basement car park, and on the fields next to the stadium. For basement parking, use Kirkness Street (near Park Street), and for parking on the fields use Lynnwood Road. If you wish to park off-site, there is car parking at Sunnypark Shopping Centre, which is a 2.2 km (26 min) walk from the stadium.
Drivers are encouraged to arrive early if travelling by car: the roads surrounding the stadium can become busy on event days, and roads including Kirkness Street are sometimes closed-off to traffic shortly before kick-off.
The nearest taxi rank to the stadium is located a 1.2 km (14 min) walk from the stadium, at the corner of Roper Street and Lynnwood Road, opposite the University of Pretoria's Hatfield Campus. There is also a bus service which goes to the city centre's Sisulu Street taxi rank, from the Hatfield Court/Burnett Street bus stop; the journey takes approximately 30 minutes.

Within Pretoria there are many areas to stay great for tourists. If you are looking to be in the heart of the city surrounded by the historical buildings, look no further than the Arcadia and Central Business district. Here you will find Embassy street and the university, making the area good for bars and restaurants, and is within walking distance of the Loftus Versfeld Stadium and other attractions such as the zoo and parks.
As well as food and drink vendors setting-up shop at the fan park on match days, visitors to the stadium can also grab something to eat or drink at the nearby Loftus Park shopping centre, located just a couple of hundred metres north of the stadium.

On most Loftus Versfeld match days, the "D-field" to the south-west of the main stadium hosts a pre-match fan park, which includes a beer garden, musical performances, games, stalls, and food vendors.

Hatfield train station is the closest rail station to Loftus Versfeld - it is located a 2.0 km (24 min) walk away. It is connected to the wider city, and is only 1 stop (7 min) away from Pretoria, the city's main rail hub.
From the very centre of Pretoria it is a 3.5 km (42 min) walk to the stadium, so it may be that only spectators who are staying closer to the stadium may wish to make the journey on foot.
