Well done
It was a fantastic experience being present in the BWF Singapore Open; it was not my 1st year at the stadium & I surely continue to attend in the many years to come.
Watching through TV is nothing without the crowd's screaming, cheering & hearing player's shouting.
The overall event experience was highly positive. However, I recommend reviewing the material used for the official spectator lanyards. The current reflective material catches the light and creates a flash-like glare from the stands, which can disrupt and distract the players during active gameplay. Organizers should actively encourage spectators to maintain a positive environment by cheering for their teams respectfully, while explicitly discouraging negative or unsportsmanlike chanting directed at opponents during gameplay.
Dear Ticketmaster Team,
I would like to provide feedback regarding the seating arrangement for the KFF Badminton event.
I believe it would greatly improve the spectator experience if the event adopted a free-seating system rather than assigned seating. I believe a free-seating system would provide a better experience for badminton fans. During tournaments, matches involving popular players may be scheduled on different courts throughout the day. Many spectators attend specifically to support their favorite players and would appreciate the flexibility to move to available seats near the court where those players are competing.
Assigned seating can limit this flexibility and may result in fans being unable to enjoy matches from their preferred viewing locations. A free-seating arrangement would allow spectators to choose seats based on the matches they wish to watch while also helping to create a more energetic atmosphere around the active courts.
Additionally, a free-seating arrangement may simplify the ticket purchasing process and provide attendees with greater convenience on event day.
I hope you will consider this suggestion for future KFF Badminton events. Thank you for your time and for your efforts in organizing ticketing for sports fans.
Thank you for organizing another exciting badminton tournament at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. As a passionate badminton fan who has travelled to various countries to watch international tournaments, I would like to share a few suggestions that may help further enhance the spectator experience.
1. Fan Engagement and Souvenirs
It would be wonderful if spectators could receive small souvenirs or goodie bags as part of the event experience. For example, at tournaments in Kumamoto, Japan, attendees received complimentary items such as keychains, player introduction leaflets, and autograph boards or fans. These simple touches create lasting memories and strengthen the connection between fans and the event.
2. Meet-and-Greet Experience
The meet-and-greet sessions have become highly commercialized this year, with fans required to pay $88 to meet individual players. In previous years, this was not the case, and the experience felt more accessible to fans.
In several other countries, players often interact with fans outside the venue through informal handshakes and photo opportunities, creating a more personal and memorable experience.
If a purchase-based qualification system is necessary, it would be beneficial to offer a wider variety of merchandise. During this tournament, the available merchandise was quite limited, and I found myself having to purchase two identical white T-shirts simply to qualify for the meet-and-greet session. There were very few options available for fans to choose from.
Perhaps the organizers could collaborate with additional suppliers to offer a broader range of merchandise, such as different T-shirt designs, badminton shoes, rackets, accessories, and collectibles. This approach is commonly seen at tournaments in other countries and allows fans to purchase products they genuinely want while still supporting the event.
3. Security and Water Policy
I would like to understand whether the restriction on bringing outside drinking water into the Singapore Indoor Stadium remains a necessary security requirement.
Given Singapore's hot and humid climate, hydration is important for spectators who may spend many hours at the venue. Requiring attendees to discard excess water at security checkpoints seems environmentally unfriendly and results in unnecessary water wastage.
4. Food and Beverage Options
Food and beverage offerings could also be enhanced.
At tournaments in some countries, vendors walk through the spectator areas carrying handheld trays with snacks and drinks. This provides convenience for guests, allowing them to purchase refreshments without leaving their seats and potentially missing important match moments.
In comparison, the current snack bar options appear relatively limited, and prices are on the higher side. Expanding the variety of food and beverage choices and introducing mobile vendors could significantly improve the overall spectator experience.
I had a fantastic time throughout the period and supporting Loh Kean Yew live was another level!
There were more entrances/exits, the ushers were very friendly, even said "bye bye" to the audiences as we were leaving the hall each evening, nice!
Unfortunately the food and drinks were expensive, the hotdrinks were a bit diluted, not nice, sorry.
Complete failure in ticketing transparency and on-site management. Total rip-off for seasonal fans.
Not enough official merchandise provided, audiences ,who attend last two days, cannot buy all merchandise.
Eventhou i chose to buy a higher priced tickets this time, i m greatly disappointed that our
View is blocked by the high sponsor
Billboards and also the umpire stand. Many others also share same negative feedback.

The food at the food stall can be further improve. Almost every year are the same type of foods available. As for the parking slots, not sure why the opening car park opposite the Kallang Leisure Mall was not open during the Semi Final and Final days.
The online ticket booking process needs to be improved.
It was enjoyable. But at the security check, too much restriction. Which makes the queue n waiting time extended.
It is unbelievable that all the centre seats were snapped up immediately, even though I logged in right on time at the designated booking hour. This happens every year during the early bird online booking organized by Ticketmaster. Can the online booking process be made more transparent and fair?
Security is top-notch for fan safety, and the stadium arena is majestic.
First the event was quite organised but the sad thing is the seat I like was sold out. Why is it so when I first received the mail i place the booking but still can’t get the seat I want and also the seat I got is 311 row 30 seat 3 and sometime seat 5 why is there a sudden change of seat. As my friend have bought the same as me but their seat remain the same why I have to keep changing all the time .
As for re-entry, not a good idea to chop on our hand.
We went during the semi finals so the queue was easy breezy. Everything was smooth. Great management and event starts on time.
I was watching the Singapore Open for two full days and have enjoyed every minute of it. My seat was great and I’ve got to see how top badminton players in the world actually play in cut throat competitions. Wonderful vibes all through.
Pleasant experience. Security check-in at entrance is fast and efficient.
Very very fun!!! Super exciting, would go again!!
