The Singapore Open, officially the KFF Singapore Badminton Open, dates back to 1929, the year that the city-state's national badminton association was founded. Initially dominated by Singaporean athletes, the Singapore Open's global prestige gradually grew, opening the competition up to badminton players from around the world; by the 1960s, Danish, Indonesian, Japanese, Malaysian, and Thai athletes had all triumphed at the event.
In 2018, the Singapore Open became part of the World Badminton Federation's (BWF) Super 500 tour level, cementing its place as a marquee international event. It was then announced in 2022 that, from the 2023 edition, the Singapore Open would feature on the Super 750 level of the BWF tour, elevating the tournament above its previous Super 500 ranking, and making it one of the foremost badminton competitions in the world.

It was enjoyable. But at the security check, too much restriction. Which makes the queue n waiting time extended.

It is unbelievable that all the centre seats were snapped up immediately, even though I logged in right on time at the designated booking hour. This happens every year during the early bird online booking organized by Ticketmaster. Can the online booking process be made more transparent and fair?

First the event was quite organised but the sad thing is the seat I like was sold out. Why is it so when I first received the mail i place the booking but still can’t get the seat I want and also the seat I got is 311 row 30 seat 3 and sometime seat 5 why is there a sudden change of seat. As my friend have bought the same as me but their seat remain the same why I have to keep changing all the time .
