The Saudi International is a professional golf tournament. It was the first European Tour event held in Saudi Arabia and prior to the introduction of LIV Golf's Jeddah event, it was the only professional men’s golf competition in the country.
It was founded in 2019 as part of the European Tour’s Middle East swing and moved to the Asian Tour in 2022 as one of its flagship events.
The tournament attracts some of golf’s biggest names for a top-class competition; Dustin Johnson won 2 of the first 3 editions either side of fellow major-winner Graeme McDowell.
Chile's Joaquín Niemann triumphed in the 2024 edition, edging out Cameron Smith and Caleb Surratt in a tense 3-man playoff with a fine birdie.
