A shuttlebus runs from Sandy City Hall to the stadium on matchdays, starting from 2 hours prior to kick-off.

There are dedicated ADA passenger drop-off zones outside the north and west sides of the stadium on Rimando Way.

Please note, only vehicles with valid permits from Sandy City may park in the public streets and neighbourhoods around Rio Tinto Stadium on matchdays. 

Directions

• From the South – take I-15 northbound, take the exit for 10600 South and make a right at the end of the exit ramp to head east on 10600 South. Turn left at State Street, then left onto 9400 South. Make a right onto the Stadium's Ring Road. Permit parking (South Lot) will be immediately on your right, and VIP/Media and other permit parking (West Lot) will be farther ahead on your left
• From the North – take I-15 southbound, take the exit for 9000 South and make a left at the end of the exit ramp to head east on 9000 South. Turn right at State Street. (An alternate route would be to turn right on Monroe Street immediately after exiting from I-15, then left onto 9400 South, then left onto the Stadium's Ring Road.) Permit parking (South Lot) will be immediately on your right, and VIP/Media and other permit parking (West Lot) will be farther ahead on your left
• From Salt Lake City International Airport – take I-80 East to I-15 southbound. Follow the directions for coming "From the North" above

Please note, all Ring Road traffic surrounding the Stadium flows SOUTH NORTH prior to events and reverses post-event.

There are dedicated passenger drop-off zones outside the north and west sides of the stadium on Rimando Way.

A matchday shuttle bus runs from Sandy City Hall to the stadium and back again, starting 2 hours prior to kick-off.

The stadium can also be reached via several routes:

• 201 – State St @ 9345 S stop · 500 m (6 min) walk
• F525 – Monroe St @ 9391 S stop · 750 m (9 min) walk
• F590 – 9000 S @ 138 W stop · 700 m (8 min) walk

The stadium can be reached via the Blue Line of Utah Transit Authority's TRAX light rail system:

• Blue Line – Sandy Expo Station · 750 m (9 min) walk
• Blue Line – Historic Sandy Station · 1.1 km (13 min) walk
• Blue Line – Sandy Civic Center Station · 1.8 km (22 min) walk

There are bike racks located on the north side of the stadium, next to the Team Store.
