The Principal Charity Classic is a men's senior golf event on the PGA Tour Champions schedule. It was founded in 2001 as the Allianz Championship, and since 2013 it has been held at Wakonda Club in Des Moines, Iowa.
Each year, this event raises money for Iowa children's charities; since Principal took over as the title sponsor in 2007, it has raised more than $45 million.
The tournament is popular with spectators, and in 2016 it was named as the PGA Tour Champions' Tournament of the Year.
