There is ample free parking at the racecourse. Please follow signage and directions from stewards on the day.
There is designated accessible parking on tarmacked ground close to the main entrance.
There is a specific taxi drop-off area entry via the Main Gate off Wood Lane. Taxis can pick up and drop off from this point. For any less physically able or disabled customers taxis are permitted by Stewards to drop off safely outside the Main Gate and waiting area. All taxis must leave through our Barnfields exit which is the first gate on Wood Lane.
The nearest bus stop to the racecourse is at the railway station which has links to routes 402, 402A, 403, 405, and X41. It is a 1.3 km (16 min) walk from the course.
The racecourse welcomes coach groups to racedays. On arrival, coaches will be directed to allocated coach parking.
Uttoxeter Train Station is adjacent to the racecourse and is a 1.4 km (17 min) walk away. Most Intercity services run trains to Derby and Stoke on Trent which in turn runs regular connecting trains to Uttoxeter. A direct service also operates from Crewe. Helicopters may land on the centre course (by prior arrangement with the racecourse) whilst aircraft may use Tatenhill Airfield at Needwood, 7 miles from the Racecourse. Please contact Tatenhill on 01283 575283.
The racecourse is just a 1.6 km (19 min) walk from the centre of Uttoxeter where there is a selection of shops, eateries, pubs, and more.
