The history of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club dates back to 1771, but the club was formally established in 1841. As founding members of the County Championship in 1890, Notts quickly made their presence felt by clinching the first of 6 titles in 1907. Limited overs cricket has also been a strength and the club has earned victory in both the One Day Cup and T20 Blast. Graeme Swann, Stuart Broad, and Kevin Pietersen are among Nottinghamshire's most famous former players.
