The Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai is a senior men's golf event, part of the PGA Tour Champions. It began life in 1984 as the senior division of the PGA Tour's MONY Tournament of Champions, before becoming a standalone tournament held in Puerto Rico in 1995. It relocated to Hualalai Resort in Hawaii in 1997, where it has found a permanent home.
Typically held in January each year, it often serves as the curtain-raising event on the PGA Tour Champions calendar.
It features a strong field, comprised of PGA Tour Champions winners from the previous 2 years and winners of the senior major championships from the last 5 years, so spectators can expect an impressive golfing display.
