Mexico City is a sprawling capital defined by its many characterful neighbourhoods, each of which offers its own unique and exciting take on the city. Whilst some are pricier than others, the city as a whole is very affordable and can easily be visited on a shoestring budget.
As well as a host of food stalls outside the stadium, there is plenty to eat and drink when you get inside Estadio Azteca. Vendors move through the crowd selling beer and snacks, and a range of food stands offer tacos, quesadillas, hamburgers, rotisserie chicken, potato chips, and much more besides.
Outside food and drink may not be brought inside the venue.
Tickets for Estadio Azteca should come with a designated entry gate. Use the gate marked on your ticket to access the stadium.
There are toilet facilities throughout the stadium.
Estadio Azteca offers access ramps and wheelchair-accessible seating, but much of the stadium is quite old and these facilities may not be in the very best condition.
