Melbourne Mavericks is an Australian professional netball team that competes in Suncorp Super Netball.
📜 Melbourne Mavericks History
The Mavericks were founded in 2023 to fill a gap in the league, after Collingwood Magpies withdrew from Suncorp Super Netball competition. The new team license was awarded to Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) for a a team based in south east Melbourne.
The administration and training base for the Mavericks is located in Glen Waverley, Victoria. The Mavs play their home matches at John Cain Arena in Melbourne Park.
The official Melbourne Mavericks team colours are sky blue, pacific cyan, and sapphire.
