Overall, the Malaysia Open was a great experience, but a few improvements can make it even better:
1. Temporary Storage System: Implement a sticker/label system for items temporarily stored. It’ll streamline the process and save time compared to searching manually.
2. Exit Arrangement: The main entrance to Axiata Arena can't be used for exiting. Visitors must walk around to the side, which is impractical, especially in emergencies. Alternative exits near the main entrance would help.
3. Accessibility for Wheelchair Users: On both days, I noticed wheelchair users struggling to exit due to narrow pathways and obstacles like machines. Staff assistance or dedicated exits for them would improve the experience.
4. Toilet Access: During the finals, toilet queues were extremely long for both genders. Level 4 was less congested—adding clear signs directing attendees there would reduce crowding.
5. Parking Issues: The ticketing system recognizes cars upon entry but frequently fails after payment, causing delays. This needs fixing for a smoother exit.
6. Prayer Room for Women: Provide an open and easily accessible prayer area for women, similar to PMM.
Would highly recommend attending, but these changes would significantly improve convenience for all.
