La Flèche Wallonne (French for "The Walloon Arrow") is a men's professional cycle road race held in April each year in Wallonia, Belgium. La Flèche Wallonne Féminine is the women's equivalent that takes place on the same day.
The first of 2 Belgian Ardennes classics, La Flèche Wallonne is normally held mid-week between the Amstel Gold Race and Liège-Bastogne-Liège; though in 2022 the former has switched dates with the Paris-Roubaix due to the French election. At one time, La Flèche Wallonne and Liège-Bastogne-Liège were run on successive days as "Le Weekend Ardennais" with only 7 riders having achieved the "Ardennes double" by winning both races in the same year. Dating back to 1936, the steep hills of the Ardennes are emblematic of the race.
La Flèche Wallonne Tickets
Both the men's and women's races take place over public roads and so no entry ticket is required to watch the cyclists; simply choose your spot along the route and get there in plenty of time before road closures to cheer them on. Hospitality tickets are available at certain parts of the day's route. Be in the heart of the action with cycling hospitality on top of the Mur de Huy, the super steep highlight of the route. From here you will see the riders of the women’s race twice and the riders of the men’s race 3 times.
