The Helsinki International Horse Show has a plethora of equestrian action and entertainment on offer for spectators of all interests. The show features domestic and international competitions in various disciplines such as the Amateur Tour, the Pohjola Grand Prix, and the International Speed Final with the highlights being the Land Rover Grand Prix and the prestigious Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™. Jumping tests the technical jumping skills of the horse and rider, including agility, obedience, and fitness. There are 12-20 fences set up in a ring which consist of elements that can be knocked down and the phase is timed, with penalties being given for every second over the required time. Time is added on for each obstacle knocked down, creating more penalties. Ranking points are gained to see who will head to the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final!
The venue has a range of food and drink venues including an Italian pizzeria, a hamburger restaurant, sweet shops, and more.
You are allowed to bring your own snacks but these should not be consumed in the restaurant areas.
