The Giro d'Italia Women - formerly known as the Giro d'Italia Donne, and also known as the Giro Rosa or the Giro d'Italia Femminile - is a long-distance women's road race across the beautiful countryside of Italy and the equivalent to the men's Giro d'Italia.
It is one of the most prestigious stage races in the women's road cycling calendar and has been part of the UCI Women's WorldTour organised by the Union Cycliste Internationale since 2016, though dropped down to Pro-level in 2021. Since its inception in 1988, the race has historically been a 9/10-day event, but was briefly an 8-day race in 2013 when it was branded as the Giro Rosa.
In 2026, the Giro d'Italia Women will to take place from 30 May - 7 June 2026.
Giro Women Tickets
The race takes place over public roads and so no entry ticket is required to watch the cyclists; simply choose your spot along the route and get there in plenty of time before road closures to cheer them on.
You can find the full details of the route on the Giro d'Italia Women website.
