About MEWA Arena

MEWA Arena - also sometimes known as FSV Mainz 05 Arena - is a sports stadium primarily used to host football matches and is located in Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is the home ground of Mainz 05.

Opened in July 2011, the stadium was built to replace the Bruchwegstadion. The venue has modern facilities and a capacity of just over 34,000.

There is a free Bundesliga travel guide app aimed at football fans with and without disabilities. Among other things, it offers an audio service for visually impaired and blind fans and information in plain language. This is a simplified variant of the standard German language - with the aim of giving as many people as possible access to information. In addition, you can select your individual support needs in the app and based on this you will receive all the information relevant to you - for example, where the barrier-free entrances or toilets are located in the respective stadium.
