Several parking lots are available on the UGA campus, all of which open at 07:00 on event days:
All university parking lots include accessible spaces for people with disabilities. Parking passes can be purchased through ParkMobile or through resellers.
Free gameday shuttle services run between Sanford Stadium Gate 6 and multiple locations on campus, including the East Campus Parking Deck and the Intramural Fields. East Campus Parking Deck shuttle services begin 5.5 hours before kickoff and end 2 hours after the game is finished. Intramural Fields shuttle services begin when the East Campus lots are full and overflow parking opens, and end 2 hours after the game. Return shuttles cannot go all the way back to the Intramural Fields after the game due to traffic, so they will drop passengers half a mile away at East Campus Road.
Ride share services are available, and passengers can be dropped off and picked up on the roads surrounding the stadium. Traffic can be very busy, however, particularly immediately after a game.
Sanford Stadium can be reached on public Athens Clarke County bus routes 9, 12, 14, and 26. Get off at the Tate Center stop, which is just 10 m (1 min) walk from the stadium.
There are no local train services in Athens.
Cycling is a popular way to get around the UGA campus, and there are bike racks located around the campus for safe storage. Although Sanford Stadium does not have its own bike rack, the nearby Tate Center does provide this option.

Athens is a reasonably priced city to visit with an excellent selection of luxury hotels, mid-range hotels, and budget rooms to suit all tastes and budgets. Since most of Athens’ commercial areas are concentrated in Downtown Athens, prices are relatively higher there compared to the city’s other neighbourhoods, but even a luxury hotel wouldn’t break the bank.
