The Stade de France is located in Saint-Denis, a commune located approximately 9 km north of central Paris. The stadium can be easily reached by car, with on-site parking spaces available on event days via pre-booking. The venue is also highly accessible via bus, train, metro, and tram. Travellers coming from the Saint-Denis area can also walk or cycle to the stadium.

The Stade de France houses 3 on-site public car parks:
Car Parks P1 and P3 have a maximum height restriction of 2.1 m, whilst P2 has a restriction of 2 m. See the Coach & Bus information section for car parks with no maximum height restriction. On event days, Car parks P1, P2, and P3 are usually open between 08:00-21:00 (afternoon events) or 08:00-01:00 (evening events).

Travelling to the Stade de France by taxi takes approximately 10 minutes from central Saint-Denis, and closer to 50 minutes from central Paris. There is no dedicated taxi rank at the stadium, and traffic restrictions are usually in place on events days, preventing cars without parking passes from accessing the roads directly around the stadium complex. It may therefore be necessary to be dropped-off on a road a short walk away from the stadium.

Private coaches, minibuses, and vans
As Car Parks P1, P2, and P3 have a maximum height restriction of approximately 2 m, those travelling via private coaches, minibuses, and vans should make use of Car Park P4, an uncovered car park with no maximum height restriction. Car Park P4 is located on the south-east side of the stadium off Rue Ahmed Boughera el Ouafi, a 400 m (5 min) walk from the venue.
As one of the most visited cities in Europe, it’s hard to visit Paris on a budget. But while there are renowned white-glove-service hotels and boutique hotels particuliers, there are plenty of hostels to choose from too.
On-site food & drink
The Stade de France houses 60 food and beverage kiosks, with many of them producing fresh food out of primarily local ingredients. There is also an in-seat food service: spectators can order food and drink from their seats and pay online by using the official Stade de France app. Please note that spectators in some seating sections may be ineligible for the in-seat service.
There is also an in-house restaurant at the stadium, Le Restaurant Le Club, for those who wish to enjoy a more formal dining experience. Reserving a table in advance by telephone is recommended: +33 (0) 155-930-440. Please note that the restaurant does not operate on all event days; would-be diners are encouraged to telephone the restaurant in advance of their visit to confirm opening hours.
Outside food & drink
Small amounts of homemade food, for example sandwiches, may be brought into the stadium. Juice cartons (measuring no more than 25 cl in volume) and items of fruit are also permitted.
Cans and glass containers are not permitted to be brought into the stadium. Plastic bottles and other water bottles are usually permitted, provided they measure no more than 33 cl in volume and have their caps or lids removed. Alcohol cannot be brought into the stadium, regardless of the container in which it is stored.
Trains and metro
The following Réseau Express Régional (RER) train lines stop close to the Stade de France;
Line B can be used by travellers who are coming from central Paris: the train runs direct from Gare du Nord, Paris' principal train station, to La Plaine-Stade de France station in just 5 minutes. Please note that specific tickets for the above stations will be required to travel to them; Ticket'T public transport tickets are not valid.

From central Paris, it takes approximately 30 minutes to cycle to the Stade de France, via Rue de la Chapelle. If travelling from closer to the stadium, it may be convenient in some cases to make use of the canal-side roads and paths which run alongside Canal Saint-Denis. For those who need to cross the canal, Pont Wilson (Wilson Bridge) is located 300 m north of the venue, and the Passerelle du Franc Moisin bridge is located 450 m to the east of the venue.
Bike racks and motorcycle parking spaces are available in all covered stadium car parks (P1, P2, and P3). Additional racks for push bikes can also be found at the junction of Rue Henri Delaunay and Avenue Jules Rimet, a 500 m (6 min) walk from the stadium.
From central Saint-Denis it is a 1.6 km (19 min) walk to the Stade de France, with Pont Wilson (Wilson Bridge) providing the most convenient way of crossing Canal Saint-Denis on foot.
From central Paris it is closer to a 8.0 km (96 min) walk to the stadium; travelling part of the way via public transport and then completing the journey on foot is recommended, in order to avoid an unnecessarily long walk.
Gates usually open 2 hours before events begin.
Accessibility
Wheelchair users can enter the stadium directly via all stadium gates, except gates E and T. However, at gates E and T there are wheelchair-accessible entry points located adjacent to the gates.

Stade de France has a capacity of approximately 80,000. However, the capacity does differ between events depending on the seating configuration.
