Formula 1 will return to Imola in 2026!
The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix is one of the newest additions to the calendar, and was originally intended as a one-off replacement for the Chinese Grand Prix during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. The success of the event and continued global disruption led to a second edition in 2021, and since then the race has become a fixture on the schedule. Formula 1 racing is no stranger to the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari – the Imola circuit hosted the San Marino Grand Prix from 1981 to 2006.
In 2025, Max Verstappen claimed victory. Will Verstappen find another win at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in 2026, or is it another driver's turn to celebrate?
