EisbÀren Berlin - which translates to Berlin Polar Bears - is a professional ice hockey team in Germany's top-tier league, the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL), and is based in Berlin, Germany. The team is one of the founding members of the league and they have won the championship more than any other team.
EisbÀren Berlin was founded in 1954 as the ice hockey section of the sports club SC Dynamo Berlin before it became independent in 1990. Their logo is a polar bear and they play their home games at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
