The Cologuard Classic is a senior golf tournament, part of the PGA Tour Champions schedule. It was established in 2015 as something of a spiritual successor to the Tucson Open, which was a fixture on the PGA Tour from 1945 to 2006.
Indeed, it even shares a coveted prize with the Tucson Open – the Tucson Conquistador helmet, one of golf's most distinctive trophies.
As a PGA Tour Champions event, it gathers together some of golf's top veterans for a thrilling weekend of live sport, and proceeds for this tournament also support colon cancer awareness and local youth sports.
