Due to the extensive parking available around the venue and the great road links, driving is one of the most popular ways to reach the Canada Life Centre. There are also good public transport connections via bus and train services.

Winnipeg Transit has up to 58 routes servicing Canada Life Centre, however some routes may not operate at all times or for all events. These routes go to and from all events at Canada Life Centre: 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 33, 38, 44, 45, 47, 55, 60, 66, 160, 162/170. The closest bus stop is Eastbound Portage at Donald (Bell MTS Place) which is just a 100 m (1 min) walk from the venue.
While Downtown Winnipeg is predominantly populated with luxury and mid-range hotels, you’ll find more affordable accommodation in the surrounding neighbourhoods.
There is a fantastic range of concessions and bars offering a wide variety of delicious food and beverages.
Well-known concessions such as Tim Hortons and Pizza Pizza highlight a variety of permanent concession stands and portable food kiosks operated by Centerplate, Canada Life Centre’s caterer and concessionaire.
Unless otherwise stated, guests will be able to enter Canada Life Centre 1 hour prior to the scheduled start time of most events. Guests attending any event at Canada Life Centre will not be allowed to re-enter the arena after exiting. Re-entry exceptions, such as emergencies, childcare or medical reasons, will be determined on a case-by-case basis by event staff and security.
Canada Life Centre guests are encouraged to leave non-essential items at home and travel lightly when attending concerts and sporting events. The maximum size of purse/bag allowed is 14” x 14” x 6”.
Union Station offers transport links connecting Winnipeg to other destinations in Canada and further afield. The station is a 1.3 km (16 min) walk from the venue.
As Canada Life Centre is centrally located in downtown Winnipeg, there is plenty to see and do within walking distance of the arena. Nearby there is the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg (a 600 m (7 min) walk), the Winnipeg Art Gallery (a 850 m (10 min) walk), and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (a 1.2 km (14 min) walk) to name just a few.

Ticket prices for events at Canada Life Centre vary depending on several different factors such as the teams or players competing, the ticket type, and the seller. In the last 12 months, we have seen tickets as low as CAD $20 for certain events at the arena. You can purchase tickets at the arena's box office which is located at street level at the corner of Portage Avenue and Donald Street in the main atrium (Gate 1) and open Monday-Friday 11:00-15:00 on non-event days or Monday-Friday 11:00 to the event time, Saturday-Sunday 2 hours before the event on event days. However, it is generally more convenient to purchase tickets online as you can compare ticket types and prices and secure yourself the right ticket for you before arriving at the arena.

Gates typically open 1 hour prior to the start of the event. For some events, you can find the gate/door opening time on Koobit by viewing the event’s Schedule tab. Timings should also be confirmed on your tickets when you receive them.
