Due to the parking at the venue and the great road links, driving is a popular way to reach the Scotiabank Saddledome, however, visitors are encouraged to utilise public transport connections via light rail and bus services.

Visitors without parking passes are strongly encouraged to use public transport or to utilise parking in the downtown area, however, there are some parking options available.
Parking is available on a limited event-by-event basis in the Scotiabank Saddledome lots on the north side of the Saddledome located off 14th Avenue and 5th Street S.E. Cost per vehicle is at the prevailing rate, with no in-out privileges, and can be paid at the car park.
There is also additional vehicle parking on Stampede Park, immediately adjacent to the Scotiabank Saddledome or at a number of private lots in the area (not affiliated with the Scotiabank Saddledome or the Calgary Flames).
Disabled parking is located in the Scotiabank Saddledome lots on the north side of the Saddledome or on Stampede Park. Cost per vehicle is at the prevailing rate, with no in-out privileges. Spaces are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Drop-off locations can be found northwest side of the Scotiabank Saddledome with access is via the Stampede Park gates at Olympic Way.
Cost is at the prevailing Stampede Park rate which is refundable if your vehicle leaves within 30 minutes.

The Scotiabank Saddledome is easily accessed by light rail line 201 on Calgary LRT (Light Rail Transport). Alight at Victoria Park/Stampede station which is a 500 m (6 min) walk from the venue.

The Scotiabank Saddledome offers a wide range of traditional and specialty food offerings in convenient locations for our patrons' enjoyment. For hockey games, an in-seat food and beverage service is available to premium seating patrons.
There are some great bars located in the Scotiabank Saddledome including Dutton's Lounge, the Club Lounge, Saddleroom Grill, Alumni Lounge, and King Club.
Alcoholic beverages of any kind are not permitted to be brought into the Scotiabank Saddledome and may be subject to eviction by doing so. Any purchase of alcoholic beverages is intended for consumption in the Scotiabank Saddledome only and may not leave the building.
Drinking fountains are located on the main concourse level of the Saddledome. There are no drinking fountains on the Club level.
Doors open between 60 to 90 minutes before the start of the event. Exiting and re-entering the building during events (sporting and non-sporting) will not be permitted at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
There are 2 main entry points to the Scotiabank Saddledome:
Scotiabank Saddledome asks fans to arrive early and travel light as all persons and bags are subject to visual and/or pat-down search. Bags, backpacks, suitcases, etc. are not permitted. Scotiabank Saddledome does not provide an area to check bags, coats, or any other personal belongings unless you are in a premium seating area.
Bicycle racks are not available at the Scotiabank Saddledome, however, there are bicycle racks located on Stampede Park adjacent to the Saddledome.
The Scotiabank Saddledome is centrally located in the city of Calgary and is just a 2.0 km (24 min) walk from the Downtown Commercial district.
There are toilet facilities located throughout the venue on all levels.
Baby changing stations are located in all restrooms on the main concourse for your convenience.
Scotiabank Saddledome is the home rink of the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL), so it is predominantly hosting ice hockey games. You can find the Scotiabank Saddledome schedule above.
Tickets for events at Scotiabank Saddledome vary greatly in price depending on several factors such as the event, the teams playing, the ticket type, and the ticket seller. In the last 12 months, we have seen tickets as low as CAD $13 with the average price sitting at around $52. It is possible to purchase tickets at the arena's box office which is located on the north side of the Saddledome, located off 14th Avenue and 5th Street S.E. (an 'Event Only' Box Office is located on the west side of the Saddledome at the +15 entrance and is open 2 hours prior to events). However, buying tickets online is generally more reliable and more convenient as you are able to view a range of options and prices, and purchase a ticket before arriving at the arena.
Scotiabank Saddledome has some nearby parking lots and garages, however, visitors are encouraged to utilise public transport to get to the venue. Gates typically open between 60-90 mins before the start of the event. For some events, you can find the gate/door opening time on Koobit by viewing the event’s Schedule tab. Timings should also be confirmed on your tickets when you receive them.
Scotiabank Saddledome has a capacity of approximately 19,289. However, the capacity does differ between events depending on the seating configuration.
