The Buick LPGA Shanghai is a professional women’s golf tournament, part of the LPGA Tour. It was established in 2018 as part of the LPGA Tour’s efforts to branch out into China.
The United States’ Danielle Kang won both the 2018 and 2019 editions of the tournament – the latter on her 27th birthday – and she remained the defending champion for several years as the competition was not held between 2020 and 2022 due to the pandemic.
