The Queensland Country Bank Stadium is located in South Townsville, on the banks of Ross Creek. As there is no on-site car parking available at the stadium, travelling by public transport, or on foot if viable, is recommended. If you must travel by car, using the free event day park and ride service which operates from Lou Lister Park is recommended.

There is no event day parking on the stadium site, with the exception of pre-bookable disabled-accessible parking, which is available in the stadium car parks immediately adjacent to the venue (e.g. off Pride Close). To book accessible car parking, click here.
Non-disabled event day visitors who wish to drive to the Queensland Country Bank Stadium should make use of the free event day park and ride service which operates from the Lou Lister Park car park, which can be accessed off Hermit Park (Brodie Street), via Charter Towers Road. The park and ride car park is located a 1.7 km (20 min) walk from the stadium. The shuttle buses are disabled-accessible, and accessible car parking spaces are located in close proximity to the bus drop-off and pick-up bay.

Please note that parking and traffic restrictions are usually in operation on event days, in the vicinity of the stadium and within the Townsville central business district (CBD). Drivers should therefore allow extra time to make their journeys.
There is an event day taxi rank on on the Central Park side of Dean Street, close to Saunders Street; it is located a 600 m (7 min) walk from the stadium. Taxi and rideshare drop-offs can also be made at the rideshare zone on Morey Street (Dean Street park and ride car park side), and on Flinders Street (Castle Hill side), close to Little Fletcher Street. Both drop-off points are located an approximately 800 m (10 min) walk from the stadium.
There is also a disabled-accessible drop-off and pick-up zone located on Pride Close, approximately a 150 m (2 min) walk from Gates D and E, at the south end of the stadium.
From the centre of Townsville it takes approximately 5 minutes to drive to the stadium. From Townsville railway station it takes between 5-10 minutes, and from Townsville Airport it is closer to a 10 to 15-minute drive.

Spectators are permitted to bring homemade food, for personal consumption, into the stadium from outside. Water, hot drinks, unflavoured milk, and juice can also be brought in, provided they are stored in bottles with unbroken seals, small cardboard cartons, or flasks or Thermoses. Drinks may not measure more than 1.25 litres in volume. Foods required for dietary or medical reasons are also permitted. Water fountains are located throughout the stadium; spectators are welcome to bring an empty, unsealed plastic bottle to refill inside the venue.
There are 8 main entry gates located around the stadium perimeter. Most stadium tickets include a recommended entry gate, depending on seat location, but the approximate location of the gates is as follows:
Re-entry is permitted at most Queensland Country Bank Stadium events, but spectators are advised to check with stadium staff when they first arrive at the venue. In the event that re-entry is permitted, spectators should retain their tickets and collect "pass-outs" from gate staff when they exit the stadium, in order to be re-admitted.

The 200, 201, and 203 buses operate daily, from morning until late evening; the 200 and 201 also operate until the early hours on Friday and Saturday nights.
All other aforementioned bus routes operate Monday to Saturday, from morning to at least early evening, with the exception of the 207, which operates Monday to Friday only.
Private coaches

Townsville railway station is the city's main rail hub. It is located a 1.3 km (16 min) walk from the Queensland Country Bank Stadium, or a 5-minute taxi ride.
It takes approximately 5 minutes to cycle to the stadium from central Townsville, via Lowths Bridge. In the event that this bridge is closed (for example on event days), the journey can take closer to 10 minutes, via Central Park Boardwalk or Little Fletcher Pedestrian Bridge. There are cycle lanes close to the stadium, including along stretches of Wally Trallis Way and Saunders Street.
There is a small number of free bike racks at the Dean Street park and ride car park, an 800 m (10 min) walk from the stadium. There is also a small number of free bike racks on Flinders Street, close to the junction with Little Fletcher Street, a 850 m (10 min) walk from the stadium.

It is just a 1.1 km (13 min) walk to the Queensland Country Bank Stadium from the very centre of Townsville, and from Townsville train station it is a 1.3 km (16 min) walk. From South Townsville the walk is slightly longer - it is a 1.9 km (23 min) walk from Victoria Park, for example.
