Lang Park is located in central Brisbane. Visitors are urged to use public transport to reach the venue, as most event tickets include free public travel on all Queensland Rail City Network and Transport For Brisbane services. The stadium can also be reached on foot by those staying in the city centre.
Below you can find general information on travel and parking for Suncorp Stadium. Individual events may have additional/restricted services available, and so we recommend clicking through to the event and viewing the Travel & Parking tab for event-specific information.
Travelling to the stadium by car is not recommended: there is no on-site parking for non-disabled visitors, and there are parking restrictions in force on the roads surrounding the ground, before and after matches and events. If you are required to travel by car, it is best to use a car park which is likely to be as unaffected by road and parking restrictions as possible. One such example is the car park on Tank Street, which is a 1.4 km (17 min) walk from the ground.
Disabled spectators, meanwhile, are permitted to park on Castlemaine Street and Cordova Street on event days, allowing them to travel as little as a few dozen metres into the stadium. To be eligible, spectators must possess and display either a Queensland Disability Parking Permit or Australian Disability Parking Permit, and must enter the Lang Park Persons With Disability Parking Request ballot, by clicking here. Accessible match day parking is available exclusively via this ballot process.
There are 2 drop-off points which can be used by disabled visitors. They are located at Caxton Street (north of Gates D and E), and Castlemaine Street (near to Gates A and B).
Transport For Brisbane buses are free to use for Lang Park match day ticket holders, on the day of the match. The free travel period starts 4 hours before kick-off, and ends 4 hours after the match ends. Simply show the bus driver the match day ticket, upon boarding the service.

Event day shuttle buses
There are 5 main shuttle bus routes to and from Lang Park on match days, which normally start running 2 hours before kick-off, and then run regularly after the match, for 1 hour. Irregular services may then run for more than 1 hour, depending on the event. The termini are listed below, but click here to see all intermediate stops; all shuttle buses use the Suncorp Stadium Bus Station for pre-match drop-offs, unless stated otherwise:
Visitors to the stadium are allowed to bring in homemade food to the venue, but obviously purchased food and snacks, particularly in "commercial packaging", are not permitted. Spectators with special dietary or medical requirements are allowed to bring in purchased foods, provided that they are not contained in cans or glass containers.
Spectators can also bring in sealed, plastic bottles of water, as well as thermal flasks containing hot drinks. Tap water can be provided by stadium bar staff, upon request.
There are also plenty of concessions and food stalls within the stadium, as well as bars and drinks outlets.
There are 5 principal gates which can be used to access Lang Park:
There are designated "parent rooms", which include baby changing facilities, located near the Northern Information Desk, on level 3 of the venue.
Accessibility
There are dedicated areas outside the stadium for disabled spectators to park, or to be dropped-off and picked-up. For more information, see the Travel & Parking section.
Within the stadium, disabled visitors can use the access lifts located by Gates A and B. The vast majority of walkways at Lang Park are level, and those that are not level have low-gradient ramps. There are over 500 disabled-accessible or companion viewing areas at Lang Park, including 220 wheelchair bays. All accessible seats and viewing areas have step-free access.
Toilets
There are accessible toilets located throughout Lang Park. Stadium staff can point spectators towards the nearest toilets.
The 2 closest train stations to Lang Park are Milton, which is a 750 m (9 min) walk from the ground, and Roma Street, which is a 900 m (11 min) walk.
The stadium's position on the north bank of the Brisbane River means it can be reached by boat. There are several berths in central Brisbane in particular, with many along Kangaroo Point, which is a 3.6 km (43 min) walk from Lang Park.
Cycling is a great way to travel to a match at Lang Park: there are many cycle routes along and near to the Brisbane River, and there are bike racks at the north and south ends of the stadium.
It is just a 2.0 km (24 min) walk to the stadium from the very centre of Brisbane. Due to the stadium's location just north of the Brisbane River, there are plenty of pleasant routes to take if you are travelling from south, east, or west of the venue.
Suncorp Stadium has a capacity of approximately 52,500. However, the capacity does differ between events depending on the seating configuration.
