2022-23 Tickets & Prices
The home rink of the Washington Capitals is Capital One Arena. The arena has a seated capacity of just over 18,573 for hockey games and is regularly a full house. Adult ticket prices including fees start from as low as USD $13 for basic tickets to $14,809 for the most premium tickets. The average adult ticket starts at $55.
Standard Tickets
At the Capital One Arena, there are several tiers of standard seating:
- Lower (Section 100) - close to the ice so spectators can feel immersed in the game, these are typically the most expensive standard tickets
- Upper (Section 400) - seating furthest from the action but typically the most affordable and allows spectators to take in the entire arena
Premium, Hospitality & VIP Tickets
There are also some fantastic premium and hospitality options at the arena:
- VIP Seats - the VIP seats are in the front few rows of the Lower (Section 100) level right by the plexiglass
- Loge Boxes - located just back from the Lower (Section 100) level, these boxes are perfect for small groups
- Ultra Club - on the Club (Section 200) level at the west end of the arena with extra comfortable seats and access to complimentary food and drink
- Club (Section 200) - also known as Kettler Loft Concourse, this level has elevated views of the action
- Suite (Section 300) - a level with suites for smaller groups and double/triple suites for larger parties all with luxurious extras
How to Get Cheap Tickets
Capitals ticket prices will differ depending on many factors including their opponent, the day of the week (weekends are usually more expensive), and the stage of the league. Prices for the same game can also change over time and between sellers. In some cases, there are last-minute bargains to be found for less in-demand games, however, by waiting you risk prices going up or tickets selling out. Koobit compares prices from primary and secondary sellers to help you find the right tickets for you at the best price.
Where to Buy Tickets
Capitals tickets can be bought online or at the arena box office. Purchasing tickets online is often more practical because you can easily browse several ticket types, compare alternatives and prices, and be sure that you'll get the perfect seat.
How to Get to a Game
