Since 1987, Survivor Series has been WWE’s last Premium Live Event of the calendar year. Each November, as the leaves fall from the trees and the icy autumn air takes hold outside, the world’s top wrestling stars gear up to compete in this historic show, where legacies have been forged and careers defined.
Over the years, some of the most famous matches in WWE history have taken place at Survivor Series, including the first-ever Elimination Chamber match in 2002, which ended in an emotional win for Shawn Michaels, and a memorable battle between Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar in 2018. However, Survivor Series is best known for its enormous tag team elimination matches in which teams of wrestlers with scores to settle are eliminated by pinfall or submission until only one team remains to claim the victory. In 2022, a more brutal, gruelling take on this style of match debuted at Survivor Series in the shape of WarGames – an 8–10 person tag-team bout fought across 2 rings surrounded by a steel cage.
WarGames will return to Survivor Series in 2023, as will a familiar selection of WWE stars vying for title glory and bragging rights. The Premium Live Event will take place on Saturday 25 November at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

What to Expect at Survivor Series 2023
WWE events are generally organized around a "card" of matches. Taking place one after another, these matches see 2 or more wrestlers pit their strength (and their wits) against each other in an attempt to achieve victory by pinning their opponent to the ground, or making them submit. Between matches, WWE keeps fans entertained with backstage interviews, interactive segments, and surprise appearances.
As one of WWE’s “Big 5” Premium Live Events – alongside Money in the Bank, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, & WrestleMania – Survivor Series is often home to some of the biggest matches of the year. Expect title belts to be on the line and scores to be settled during contests throughout the night.
Survivor Series not only generally features major title matches, but it is also known for showcasing 8–10 person tag-team matches. Sometimes, these matches are elimination bouts, where wrestlers can be eliminated by being pinned or submitted. In 2023, however, WarGames will take centre stage as 10 WWE superstars do battle inside a steel cage. This dangerous match is rarely seen in WWE, and Survivor Series will be its only outing in 2023.
Survivor Series Match Card 2023
While some matches are yet to be added to the card, as of 14 November, the following contests have been confirmed for Survivor Series 2023:
- WarGames: The Judgment Day v Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso & Sami Zayn
- Intercontinental Championship: Gunther (c) v The Miz
- Women’s World Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) v Zoey Stark

Seating at Allstate Arena is split across 3 main levels:
- Ringside Floor (Sections A–H) – a fan favorite seating area, ringside floor tickets bring you up close to the action with seats on the arena floor, just feet away from the action
- Lower (100 Level) – tickets on the Lower level provide close-up, slightly elevated views from the venue’s lowest tier of seating
- Upper (300 Level) – seats on the arena’s top tier are a great place to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a bird’s-eye-view of the action
How to get Cheap Tickets
WWE tickets sell out quickly, so purchasing your tickets as soon as possible is highly recommended. For those who wish to wait until closer to the event, it is possible that some resale tickets may drop in price around a week before the PLE takes place, but this is still a risky strategy as demand could also drive ticket prices up.
Official tickets for this year’s Survivor Series are almost sold out, however a whole host of resale tickets are still available online. While cheap tickets are difficult to come by, wrestling fans can still secure fantastic seats.
To help you secure the very best Survivor Series tickets, Koobit compares prices from primary and secondary sellers, meaning you’ll find the right seats at the best price.
