There’s never a dull moment in the world of WWE and that’s not likely to change this summer as the world’s top wrestling promotion brings its high-octane brand of grappling action to over 40 cities in North America.
After a sell-out crowd rocked the O2 Arena in London for Money in the Bank, WWE has returned Stateside, where a summer program of events will lead up to the company’s next major pay-per-view – SummerSlam.
Kicking things off at one of the most famous arenas in the world, Roman Reigns and the Superstars of SmackDown will perform at New York’s Madison Square Garden on 7 July before Becky Lynch and the roster of the "Red Brand" hit the KeyBank arena in Buffalo for a 10 July edition of Monday Night Raw.

Following this short stay in the Empire State, WWE heads south. PNC Arena in Raleigh will host SmackDown on 14 July, while Raw lands at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta just 3 days later.
WWE’s next stop is Florida – home of the WWE Performance Center and birthplace of NXT. Amway Center in Orlando is a common venue for WWE events and the arena will welcome the company’s larger-than-life Superstars once again for SmackDown on 21 July. A short drive towards the Gulf of Mexico will take WWE’s neverending tour to its next destination – Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay. Another favorite WWE haunt, the venue will play host to the 24 July edition of Monday Night Raw.
The 2023 Southern summer swing will come to a close on the Gulf Coast. First up, The Big Easy and Friday Night SmackDown on 28 July at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. Around 350 miles west, in Houston, Texas, WWE puts on its final show before the long trip back north – Monday Night Raw at Toyota Center on 31 July.
As July turns to August, WWE fans and Superstars will have one thing on their mind – SummerSlam. However, the company has one last stop before heading to Detroit and that is in Dayton, Ohio for Friday Night SmackDown at the Nutter Center on 4 August.
When the lights go out in Dayton and the last fan leaves the arena, the “Biggest Party of the Summer” awaits. One of WWE’s “Big 5” events, and surpassed in grandeur only by WrestleMania, SummerSlam is a show that wrestling fans love to attend, and WWE Superstars dream of headlining.
This year, on 5 August, SummerSlam is headed to the Motor City of Detroit. Held under the dome of Detroit Lions stadium Ford Field, the show will feature legends of the squared circle, household names, and up-and-coming stars in an enormous celebration of wrestling and live entertainment. With tickets starting at $85, it’s all set to be a summer spectacular, and a last chance for US fans to catch their favorite WWE stars before the promotion embarks on a tour of Canada, featuring stops in cities like Toronto, Calgary, and Winnipeg.
