Last season, the Flyers, unfortunately, finished with the fourth-worst record in the National Hockey League (NHL) and failed to make the playoffs for the second year in a row. They appointed the successful John Tortorella as head coach in June 2022 and with strong acquisitions like defenseman Tony DeAngelo from the Carolina Hurricanes, they’ll be looking to head back to winning ways.

They will also play Boston Bruins, Buffalo Sabres, Detroit Red Wings, Florida Panthers, Montreal Canadiens, Ottawa Senators, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Toronto Maple Leafs from the other Eastern Conference division, the Atlantic Division.

The 2 sides both joined the NHL the same year during the 1967 expansion and they both play in Pennsylvania. They have 2 scheduled meet-ups in the 2022-23 season:
- Pittsburgh Penguins v Philadelphia Flyers · 2 Apr 2023

2022-23 Playoffs and Finals
Philadelphia Flyers have reached the NHL playoffs 39 times in their history. They have won the Stanley Cup 2 times.

There are 4 rounds of best-of-7 series: first round with 16 teams in 8 x best-of-7 series; second round with 8 teams in 4 x best-of-7 series; Conference Finals with 4 teams in 2 x best-of-7 series; and the Stanley Cup Finals with 2 teams in 1 x best-of-7 series to determine who lifts the Stanley Cup.

How to Get Cheap Tickets
Ticket prices for Flyers games can vary depending on numerous factors such as the team they are playing, the day of the week (weekends are usually more expensive), and the stage of the league. Prices for the same game can also change over time and between sellers. In some cases, there are last-minute bargains to be found for less in-demand games, however, by waiting you risk prices going up or tickets selling out. Koobit compares prices from primary and secondary sellers to help you find the right tickets for you at the best price.
Where to Buy Tickets
Flyers tickets can be bought online or at the arena box office. Buying tickets online is typically more reliable and convenient as you can easily view different ticket types, compare options and prices, and have the assurance of guaranteeing the seat the right seat for you.
