If you prefer wining and dining to diving over the line, then you’re probably better-suited to a premium hospitality package than a gruelling test match scrum. In autumn 2022, however, you can enjoy the best of both, as England’s Autumn Nations Series opponents roll into town. Hospitality tickets are already on sale, allowing fans to get their hands on both match tickets and luxurious perks, well in advance of general sales.
England’s opponents will visit Twickenham during the 2022 Autumn Nations Series (also known as the Autumn Internationals or End of Year Rugby Tests), and the list of visiting teams is as good as it gets. On Sunday 6 November England will start its campaign against Argentina, a more than useful test side these days, and an ideal first opponent in a tough test window. The week after, on Saturday 12 November, the Brave Blossoms of Japan will bring their threatening ball-in-hand game to the capital, looking for yet another upset against a top-tier side. England will have to hope that Japan don’t get their David versus Goliath story though, as the home team need to be in top form going into the second pair of fixtures; New Zealand’s indomitable All Blacks are England’s opponents on Saturday 19 November, and current World Cup holders South Africa cap the Series off on Saturday 26 November.
Whatever the circumstances, playing New Zealand and South Africa is a huge occasion, and a massive test, but given the recent history between England and these 2 formidable sides, these next match-ups promise to be bigger than ever. England last played the All Blacks in the 2019 World Cup semifinals, dumping the southern hemisphere giants out in one of the games of the tournament. Meanwhile, England’s last clash against the Springboks of South Africa came more recently, in both sides’ final match of the 2021 Autumn Nations Series. In an all-time classic, England won 27-26 at Twickenham.
With such tantalising fixtures awaiting Eddie Jones’ side next year, demand for tickets is sure to be high, and so the range of hospitality packages already on offer provides an ideal way to guarantee yourself a seat, and some extra special Twickenham perks!
Among the more informal hospitality packages are the British Airways Rose Garden and Rugby House. The Rose Garden includes live music and a sociable, open terrace, whilst Rugby House tickets include a 4-course meal and a Q&A session with an England legend! Prices for both packages are cheapest at the Argentina and Japan matches, starting at £478.80 in the Rose Garden, and £658.80 in Rugby House. If you’re after a more formal offering, packages in The Lock and The Gate include sit-down, plated meals, and a range of refined extras. Packages are again cheapest at the Argentina and Japan matches; prices start from £658.80 in The Lock, and £718.80 in The Gate.
Fittingly, there is a fuller range of packages on offer for the New Zealand and South Africa fixtures. As well as access to the aforementioned hospitality spaces, you can also choose from a table in the Players’ Lounge or The East Wing. The Players’ Lounge package includes pre and post-match player interactions, whilst The East Wing’s range of culinary delights is hard to beat! Prices for the New Zealand match start at £1,558.80 in the Players’ Lounge and £1,798.80 in The East Wing, whilst for the South Africa match they are slightly cheaper – Players’ Lounge prices start from £1,318.80, and you can get a place in The East Wing for £1,498.80.
