The Argentine Motorcycle Grand Prix was first held in 1961, and from that year until 1999, every edition of the race was hosted at Autódromo Oscar Alfredo Gálvez in Buenos Aires. After a 15 year absence, however, the Grand Prix returned to the calendar in 2014 with a new venue, Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo. The race also updated its official name, and since 2014 it has been known in English as the Argentine Republic Motorcycle Grand Prix.
In 2024, the event was cancelled. In the last race in 2023, Ducati's Marco Bezzecchi won, but who will be celebrating in 2025 when MotoGP returns to Termas de Río Hondo?
