The ANNIKA (formerly known as the Pelican Women’s Championship) is a professional women’s golf event, part of the LPGA Tour. It debuted on the tour in 2020, bringing the stars of the LPGA to the Tampa Bay area at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair and giving spectators the opportunity to see some top-class golf.
The players have certainly delivered on that front; a dramatic end to the 2021 edition saw 4 major-winners – Nelly Korda, Lexi Thompson, Lydia Ko, and 2020 Pelican winner Sei Young Kim – tie on 17-under, before Korda won the resulting playoff with a birdie from 15 feet.
