Worcestershire County Cricket Club was founded in 1865 and takes part in the County Championship, One Day Cup, and Vitality Blast. The team is known as Worcestershire Rapids in T20 cricket.
A first-class county since 1899, Worcestershire enjoyed some of their most successful seasons between 1960–1980. By 1989, the team had won 5 County Championships.
In recent years, success has followed in the limited-overs form of the game, with Worcestershire winning the T20 Blast as recently as 2018. The club's most famous former players include Ian Botham, Moeen Ali, and Kabir Ali.
