The Broncos are the football team of Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. They compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision of the NCAA and play in the West Division of the Mid-American Conference (MAC).
Western Michigan claims 4 conference titles, including 3 as a member of the MAC. From their founding in 1906, the football team competed as the Hilltoppers, before becoming the Broncos in 1939.
