There is free parking in the main public car park (entry via Gate 4) for all meetings. There is also the Duke's car park (entry via Gate 1) for label holders, annual members, owners, trainers, and jockeys. On busier days/evenings, there is overflow parking at Hamilton College and Caird Street.
Disabled parking bays are available for blue badge holders in Duke's Entrance car park (enter via Gate 1). You may then enter the racecourse via Duke's Entrance at the top of the car park.
Coach parking is available at the course. Small coaches (35-seater or smaller) can enter via Gate 4. Larger coaches (over 35 seats) can enter via Gate 1.
Pre-booked taxis may pick-up and drop-off within the racecourse grounds (via the final gate). Signage on Bothwell Road will direct you and the stewards will also be available within the racecourse grounds. It is highly recommended to book your taxi in advance.
The 255 bus service from Glasgow Buchanan Street runs approximately every 10 minutes. This service also runs from Hamilton Bus station and drops on Bothwell Road.
From Glasgow Central: Hamilton West is the nearest train station (a 1.7 km (20 min) walk) with direct trains from Glasgow Central. From Edinburgh Waverley: Motherwell is the nearest station with onward connections to Hamilton.
Hamilton Park Racecourse is a 2.0 km (24 min) walk from the centre of Hamilton where you can find a small selection of shops and eateries. For more options, you can take the train into the centre of Glasgow.
