The Skyhawks are the football team of the University of Tennessee at Martin in Martin, Tennessee. They compete in the Football Championship Subdivision of the NCAA and play in the Ohio Valley Conference.
UT Martin played its first football game in 1925, although the college was known as Hall-Moody Junior College at the time. In 1927, it became the University of Tennessee Junior College, a name that remained until 1950.
The Skyhawks claim 5 conference titles, including 2 Ohio Valley Conference championships won since UT Martin joined in 1992.
The Skyhawks play their home games at Graham Stadium, which has a capacity of 7,500.
